Introduction

Trilobite is both a stand-alone application and VST plugin primarily intended for the creation and real time control of new sounds by intuitive and automated techniques. It provides the tools needed to visually edit modular synthesis patches, create MIDI-mapped presets from patch collections, and a unique mechanism for evolving utterly original and undreamed of sounds from your own creations and the work of others. Trilobite is built upon the Darwin Arts proprietary Selectasynth audio synthesis technology.

This version of Trilobite is free software, but not freely redistributable. For more information regarding license rights and obligations regarding this software, please refer to the license document installed with the software.

This user guide provides a high level overview of the features and usage of Trilobite. Additional sections describe how to report bugs, participate in online discussions, and freely trade patch banks with other users.
